Suv Suruban

Book Suv Suruban

Ten things to Love

1. Loads of Power
The 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 that powers the Chevrolet Suburban turns it from a modestly powered SUV into a beast of a truck that accelerates strongly with plenty of power to spare.

2. A Premium SUV at a competitive price
The Suburban shares it powertrain and chassis with models such as the GMC Yukon and the Cadillac Escalade but has a price around £10,000 less.

3. The AWD versions don’t ruin the MPG
Whilst the Chevrolet Suburban may not lead fuel economy market, the standard rear wheel drive version measures a category compatible 15/22/18 (urban/motorway/combined). Adding the AWS option still posts a creditable 14/21/16 mpg.

4. Room for Everyone
The Chevrolet Suburban can accommodate up to nine people and seven to eight in most seating configurations. And it’s not just for a crowded school run. The cabin space allows for reasonably long-legged adults to travel in comfort.

5. Rear Seats Usable by Real People
Unlike some of its competitors the third row of seats is not just for show or for a child’s car seat. The leg room is excellent and the second-row bench seat can be slid forward to make room for the extra long-legged.

6. Perfect for long trips
You might be forgiven for thinking that the kind of space that an SUV provides means a pay-off with ride comfort. The Chevrolet Suburban doesn’t think like this. The 130-inch wheelbase makes for a quiet cabin and an extremely smooth ride. The miles just fly by.

7. An SUV With an excellent all-round view
Whilst top-class road vision is something you would expect from an SUV the Chevrolet Suburban rises above them all giving both driver and passengers an unprecedented view of the road ahead.

8. Loads of Luggage Space
Often the third row of seats means a compromise between people and luggage. Not with the Chevrolet Suburban. Its 39.3 cubic feet of space behind the third row means you really can pack the kitchen sink.

9. Top Towing Strength
You may not think of your Suburban as a towing work-horse but the 6.2L V8 can tow up to 3600 kilos – that’s around 40 average sized men.

10. Hidden Cargo Space
As if the 39.3cubic feet of cargo space wasn’t enough, beneath the boot floor is a cargo management system enabling you to pack away smaller items that that you may not want visible of damaged by other items in the boot.
